Acceptable Use Policy

1. Intended Purpose & Authorized Software

TallyCloud workspaces are provisioned specifically for genuine business operations. Authorized software includes:

• Genuine, licensed versions of TallyPrime, TallyPrime Edit Log, and Tally.ERP 9.
• Legitimate business spreadsheets and office tools (Microsoft Excel, Office 365, PDF readers).
• Verified commercial accounting add-ons, TDL / TCP modules, barcode tools, and accounting ERP suites (BUSY, Marg).

2. Strictly Prohibited Activities

Customers and authorized users are strictly prohibited from utilizing our cloud infrastructure for any of the following activities:

• Cryptocurrency Mining: Running crypto miners (Bitcoin, Monero, Ethereum, etc.) or blockchain validation scripts on CPU or GPU resources.
• Network Scanning & Attacks: Engaging in port scanning, unauthorized vulnerability testing, Denial of Service (DoS/DDoS) execution, or network packet sniffing.
• Unsolicited Bulk Email (Spam): Utilizing cloud resources or email ports for sending bulk unsolicited marketing emails or harvesting email addresses.
• Malware & Exploit Hosting: Uploading, compiling, executing, or propagating viruses, trojans, ransomware, keyloggers, or unauthorized rootkits.
• Pirated Software: Installing cracked, pirated, or unauthorized software copies without genuine vendor licenses.
• Illegal Content: Storing, transmitting, or distributing content that violates the Indian Information Technology Act, 2000, or any applicable Indian penal law.

3. Resource Abuse & Noisy Neighbor Protection

In shared user-based cloud tiers, Customers must refrain from running intensive automated looping scripts, runaway database queries, or unauthorized background processes that degrade shared CPU or I/O performance for other tenants.

Mieux Technologies automated resource watchdogs reserve the right to throttle or suspend abusive runaway processes that endanger overall node stability, after issuing notice to the Customer.

4. Security Reporting & Account Enforcement

If a Customer discovers an unintentional security vulnerability in our platform, they are requested to report it responsibly to [email protected].

Violations of this Acceptable Use Policy may result in immediate workspace suspension, permanent account termination without refund, and notification of law enforcement authorities where warranted under the Indian Information Technology Act.
